REINCARNATED?!

Yeah, I guess. I haven't blogged since my birthday.. That was like a week ago. Okay, let me sum up to you everything that happened during the past week. Let's start with my birthday celebration. :)

I woke up soo darn early.. or should I say, I haven't slept the night before my day. You see, we were supposed to go to the airport at around 4am to fetch my dad who by the way arrived from Saudi Arabia during my birthday. Yey! So yeah, I was like the HAGGARD Birthday Celebrant all throughout the day. I consider this birthday as one of the most memorable special days in my life. The fact that my dad arrived during my day was already a gift.. then comes all the awesome gifts from him: A brand new Nokia C3-00 phone, a 200GB External Hard Disk Drive and the best of all? A brand new Acer Aspire One Happy Purple netbook. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you papa.. That afternoon, I had a pizza date with the Spectres. Then, we strolled along Capitol Lagoon park and took pictures.. Sooo random. It's actually not a part of the plan. But I guess, we should not plan stuffs all the time, it's better if we let things happen the way it is. Lastly, I met with my bestfriend who gave me 2 cute board shorts. And yeah, we went home afterwards. :)

Super pack. I packed my stuffs for my Manila trip. Again, I didn't have enough sleep. ZOOOOMBIE. But it's all worth it.

Off to MANILA Beybehh!! We attended the Lasallian Schools Press Conference (LSPCon) held at DLSU-Manila. It's a four-day event that holds different kinds of journalism seminars. We were very lucky to be given this kind of opportunity. Oyeahh.

Intramuros trip CANCELLED. Bad vibes. Plan B? SM Mall of Asia.. then Juko came, he was our "tourguide" during that day. After Mall of Asia, we rode the MRT going to Trinoma and later on went to SM North Edsa which is by the way just across Trinoma. Super exhausting day... but then again, IT'S ALL WORTH IT. :) I really had fun during that day.

So yeah, that was the highlights of my week. That's the BEST week I've ever had. Thank you Lord. XD

Seventeen Years

So yeah, an hour from now I'll be turning seventeen. Seventeen years of existence.. seventeen years of breathing, seventeen years of experiencing life. So, what are my plans for tomorrow? Honestly? I don't know. But the fact that my dad is arriving from Saudi tomorrow makes my birthday so much special. I don't know what to expect in the years to come.. whether it'll be good for me or the other way around, I have no idea. I am clueless.

But the fact remains that I still have to live life until He says game over. Just one birthday wish- A MORE MATURED AND MORE "GROWN UP" Judy. Yes, because people keeps on telling me to grow up, to be mature.. so I guess it's high time to act like one. I've been acting like a kid for so long, and I just realized that it's too tiring to not think about stuffs critically. As my seventeenth birthday approaches, I'll be more sensitive and considerate and matured and I WILL GROW UP. Not just physically.. but intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. That'd be cool, I guess.

So I guess I'll end it up with a birthday greeting for myself. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I may not know him personally.. I'm not an avid fan of AJ.. I just admired how he managed to move up and soar high in the showbiz industry.

Last, April 17, 2011 at around 2AM.. while spending hours sitting in front of my computer doing nothing, my aunt messaged me through facebook.

It was a shocking news for us (Me & Manang Cherai, who by the way stayed in our house for days).. so we tried to google about the news for we just thought it's just one of the "silly rumors" from those unnoticed reporters.. There are news, but it was never confirmed by authorized people. So I tried to ask AJ's first cousins whom I met 2 weeks ago during Tito Bit's wake & funeral, Crysta & Budoy. I messaged them through facebook just to confirm the news and everything.. so yeah, it was confirmed. He's dead.

I remembered them talking about their cousin during our last dinner together before they flew back to Manila.. 

Aahh Life.. you really wouldn't understand it unless you're at the point of almost losing it.. AJ's death  brought so much impact to me.. not only me, also to Manang Cherai.. and maybe millions of Filipinos out there.. Life is indeed very very precious. We need to cherish it, make the most out of it.. because we'll never know what we have until God says, OUR TIME IS UP. As what they usually say, do what you can do for today.. for maybe tomorrow will not come.. and another one goes like, the worst regret in life is not doing what you can do for today.. and so on..

Once again, condolence to the Perez family. We'll be praying for you.. I know that AJ is at a better place right now.. where there is no pain & sorrows. He'll be watching over you.

My Top 5 Childhood First Loves

Hah! You might think I'll be posting some pictures of people from my past, but NO. :| As a child, I love eating.. well until now I guess. While back reading at my tumblr dashboard, I saw a post that reminds me of my childhood. The foods I usually eat when I was young.. Up to now, I'm still eating some from time to time. :)

TOP 5. Muncher (Green Peas)

Up to now, I'm still eating this.. I'd usually pair it up with coke. I used to buy 4 pieces of muncher and eat it all by myself.. if I'm not satisfied, I'd add another 4.. 10 pesos won't hurt, right? :)

TOP 4. Mik-Mik MILK POWDER

Hahaha.. I remembered when I was still a kid, my mom would usually buy this for my birthday party favors and stuffs to be included in those loot bags... but instead of placing it to the loot bags, I'd secretly open it at one corner and eat it, and my mom would usually say, "Ta, ang Mik-Mik gin ubos mo naman ay?" at first, I'd try to deny it.. but later on, I approached her and told her my dirty little secret. XD And she would just smile at me. SAVED!

TOP 3. Hany

This is my "dessert" after dinner. :) When I was younger, my mom & I would usually go for a walk after dinner.. and I would ask her to pass by the nearest sari-sari store to buy some chocolates, and it'd always be Hany. Our favorite.

TOP 2. Haw Flakes

RF: It was just last year that I found out that this stuff was called, Haw Flakes. Thanks to Tumblr. :) I'd usually call it, "Oschas" (the host used in communion).

Me & my friends eat this stuff every afternoon when the "pedicab" vendor would pass by our street. And we end up playing roles.. the scene? Holy Communion. :)

Nomnomnom... This is very very NAMIT! (Yummy) Last year, during our team building, I bought one pack of this.. I only shared some sticks to my friends and the rest, I finished it all by myself. :) During classes, I buy some of this and eat it secretly.. XD

Not because of SUMMER CLASSES, and definitely not because of some SUMMER ESCAPADES.. Here are my MUST ACCOMPLISH LIST for the month:

• Look for MUAs. (Suggestions?)

• General Cleaning- BEDROOM!
• Lose Weight 101
• Jog every morning (5AM)
• Minimize food intakes. XD NO IN BETWEEN MEALS (Will I survive?)
• Minimize COKE (OMAYGAHHHD.. I CAN'T!)
• Must have proper DISCIPLINE. (Uhm. Whazz dat?)

Tribute to the Bosses

Last night, another chapter of someone's life came to an end.. their life as a Spectre. We prepared a tribute for the editors who just graduated. It was a night filled with fun, sadness and hesitation.. Fun in a way that we get to bond with each other again. Sad & hesitant because someone will be leaving the pub.. Manang Celine (our EIC), Manang Cherai (our Managing Editor) and Manang Czeka (our Newspaper Editor). For 10 months, I have been with them.. as co-spectres, as friends, as a family.. and I can say that it's not that easy to see them leave our beloved publication. I'll surely miss them..
