Valentines aka Bitters' Day

HAPPY VELENTINES. Fail. XD

Yesterday was obviously February 14, 2011 or also known as, Valentines Day.. for us singles, we called it as Bitters' Day. We actually have no plans for Vday but during the last minute, all (I mean the bitters) agreed to go out and have pizza for merienda. We went to greenwich and had pizza, our way of celebrating Bitters' Day.

Later that night, Me and my bestfriend went out for dinner. We dine at Max's restaurant (Located at SM Bacolod).. though we haven't watched a movie as originally planned, we still had a great Vday celebration. That's it.. we just ate, and went to the grocery to buy some ingredients for her practicum the day after (which is obviously today Feb. 15).

Vday has proven me one thing.. it's okay if you're single as long as your friends are there to accompany you and double the fun and significance of Feb. 14.

I love Bitters' Day. ^_^

A day for lovers no more.


At this very moment most people cram for they don't have their dates.. especially the singles. Most of their sentiments were, "I don't want to spend Valentines day alone", "Valentines won't be valentines if you don't have a date", and worst "You're not allowed to go out on Valentines if you don't have a date". Wait.. are there even rules imposed for valentines day? I mean, what you're saying are all trash talks. Valentines day is for everyone.. for the single people out there, for those who are in a relationship right now.. as long as you're in love and feeling like celebrating Valentines, you are free to do so.

One last thing, Valentines day is a commemoration of St. Valentine's feast (a Christian martyr).

To all the singles out there who's celebrating Valentines alone.. chin up, and be proud of it. Let's just say, We Celebrate Valentines Independently. =)
